Terms of Service

Effective July 9, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the laundry pickup and delivery services offered by True Fold Laundry (“True Fold,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, booking a pickup, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

True Fold operates a marketplace that connects customers — households and businesses such as salons, spas, and gyms — with independent drivers (“Laundry Pros”) who pick up, wash, dry, fold, and deliver laundry. We coordinate scheduling, verification, and payment. Service availability, turnaround times, and pricing vary by location and may change over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Keep your login credentials secure and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Scheduling, pickups, and cancellation

You may book one-time or recurring pickups. A Laundry Pro confirms pickup by scanning a QR code at your location, which creates a timestamped, location-verified record of the handoff. You may cancel or reschedule a pickup up to the cutoff shown at booking (generally the evening before a scheduled pickup) at no charge; cancellations after the cutoff, or a missed handoff where no laundry is made available, may incur a fee. Recurring pickups continue until you cancel the schedule.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices are quoted per load or on volume terms for business accounts. A “load” is a unit of laundry volume capped by weight; the current weight cap and its basket-equivalent are shown at booking and on our pricing page. Orders that exceed the per-load cap are counted as additional loads. Households are charged per completed order; business accounts may be billed on a recurring invoice (including ACH where offered). You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for amounts due, including applicable taxes. Invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice. Late or failed payments may result in suspension of service. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

5. Care of items, declared value, and liability limits

We and our Laundry Pros handle items with reasonable care, but laundry carries inherent risk (shrinkage, color transfer, wear, and items left in pockets). Please remove non-washable items and valuables before pickup. Unless you declare a higher value in writing and we accept it in writing before pickup, our total liability for any lost or damaged item is limited to the lesser of (a) ten times (10×) our cleaning charge for the affected order or (b) US $250 per order. We are not responsible for items not listed at pickup, ordinary wear, inherent defects, or damage caused by manufacturer care-label errors. Claims must be submitted within seven (7) days of delivery with reasonable detail so we can investigate.

6. Independent contractors

Laundry Pros are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of True Fold. They set their own hours and supply their own labor. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, joint venture, or partnership relationship between True Fold and any Laundry Pro. True Fold does not control the manner or means by which a Laundry Pro performs a job beyond the standards described here.

7. Acceptable use and prohibited items

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes. Do not submit hazardous, biohazardous, illegal, or extremely delicate/irreplaceable items for cleaning. We may refuse or return items we reasonably determine are unsafe or unsuitable to handle.

8. Disputes and resolution

If something goes wrong, contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. For pickup or delivery disputes, the QR scan record and job history serve as our shared reference. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, the parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies. These Terms do not waive any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, True Fold is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited as described in Section 5. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 8, the state and federal courts located in Colorado have jurisdiction over any dispute not otherwise resolved.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
